The Cream Drama & Step Team

The Cream Incorporated takes pride in providing services that encourage young men to look beyond the barriers of urban plight. This past summer, we had the opportunity to collaborate with Bottles n Backpacks and Mentor 2 Youth at the Chappelle Business Center in Ypsilanti Michigan to hold drama and step sessions with young males. The first Cream Drama & Step (CDS) Team, male dance group based in Ypsilanti, MI (ages 5 to 14.) Anywhere from 15-25 young boys would meet Cream Incorporated Outreach Coordinator Tru Ajani on Mondays and Thursdays from 3-5:00 P.M. from the end of June until the middle of September. Working on choreography, coordination, and expression (individualistically and in a group setting for males of all ages), CDS 2019 was a great success that empowered several members of the 2019 CDS Team to grow out of their shell and “step outside the box.”
